Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
As we begin the holiday season, it’s such a blessing to be able to experience the joy and excitement of being able to gather with our families and friends! On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to send a special THANK YOU to each of you – families, sponsors and donors, volunteers, and friends! We are grateful to you for your commitment to our mission to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community to live fully. We look forward for all that’s to come in 2023.
The compassion and generosity of our community continues to provide us with the opportunity to create and build connections – enabling us to design and implement programs responding to the support our community has identified. Our MEET UPS (informal, social support groups) include – Sib Shops, the Gaming Group, Dad to Dad, Sensory Friendly Films, and Holiday Trolley, along with special activities and EMPOWER HOURS that focus on topics such as Navigating the Sea of Resources, the Journey to Financial Stability for Your Dependents, Housing, IEPs and more. In the new year we’re looking forward to the launch of our new adult group, and in partnership with Delta Airlines, “Look I’m Flying” will be re-launched in January (date TBD).
